11 Accommodation Owners Booked for Operating Without Licenses

Busan city’s special judicial police discovered 11 accommodations operating without licenses around Haeundae, Gwangalli, and Gijang as well as other downtown areas.

Four of the businesses installed swimming pools and barbecue facilities without permission from respective regional offices.

Seven other sites ran accommodation services from residential buildings located near beaches.

The city booked the property owners for violation of the public sanitation law.

An official from the city advised people to use official accommodations, saying that illegal lodgings are increasing with the increase in home-sharing sites.
