60 Cases Reported in Busan in First Month of Anti-Workplace Bullying Law

About sixty cases of workplace bullying have been reported in Busan in a month since the anti-workplace bullying law took effect.

According to the Busan Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, 44 reports have been called in, including 12 in verbal abuse and 11 cases of unfair personnel decisions, among others.

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions has said it also received some 15 reports as well.

The employment and labor office will allow the affected companies to solve these problems on their own; however, if no changes are carried out, the authorities are due to take legal measures as necessary.
