Busan International Dance Festival Begins Five-Day Run Tomorrow

The Busan International Dance Festival is being recognized as a unique art festival of Busan since people can enjoy the scenery of the beach while being accompanied with artistic dance performances on the stage.

The Busan International Dance Festival will be held for five days beginning tomorrow and running through Sunday, June 9th.

Marking the 15th anniversary this year, one of the largest dance festivals will be held under the theme of ‘Dance of the World, Born in Busan’ in various places throughout the city including Haeundae Beach and the Busan Cinema Center.

A total of 46 dance performances will be on the stage during the festival from a total of 29 dance groups representing 10 countries including Korea, Mongolia, the US, Austria, Finland, and Turkey.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at the special stage of Haeundae Beach on June 7th at 6:30 pm.
