The Busan International Motor Show returns this year in June and plans to be bigger and better with more participants and car brands set to show off their newest vehicles on offer.
The highly attended bi-annual event in Busan is set to host 120 companies from 10 countries, more than 30% of the previous show here in 2016.
All domestic car companies are also going to participate — the first time since 2012. Hyundai, Genesis, Kia, Korea GM, Renault Samsung, and Ssangyong will be on hand to showcase their latest models.
For foreign carmakers, Volkswagen, Honda, Cadillac, Volvo, Peugeot Citroen, FCA (Jeep, Fiat, Chrysler) and Porsche will attend, while Ford, Lincoln and Maserati are discussing whether to participate.
The Busan Motor Show Organizing Committee is planning to introduce future automobile technologies such as electric cars and autonomous driving technology in addition to new cars at this event.
This year’s event takes place at BEXCO from June 7 through the 17th.
