Busan International Surfing Festival Re-named and Reduced to One-Day

The Busan International Surfing Festival has undergone changes in name and will be reduced to one-day.

The festival, which had originally been scheduled for September, was postponed due to a conflict between the Haeundae district office and the association surrounding the sponsoring company’s advertisement.

The name of the event was also changed to the Haeundae-gu Office Cup Busan International Surfing Festival and will take place on November 23rd.

Due to lack of budget, the three-day event has been reduced to one day. The existing nine events have also been reduced to two, and the number of competitions has been reduced from 15 to four.
