The Busan Port Festival is back for its 12th year from May 25 to 26 at the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal and Korea National Maritime Museum in Yeongdo.
The annual event offers a variety of ocean-related programs for both children and adults to enjoy, including an 18-minute fireworks show on Friday night at 9 p.m. with the mountainside road of Yeongju-dong and the area behind Busan Station being good places to catch the fireworks.
Tours go around the north port and on several ships including the Dokdo Battleship, Russian sailboats and coast guard vessels. Participants need to sign up for these tours on site.
According to Dynamic Busan Magazine, the beer garden, stylized for this event with the German `Bier Garten,’ will be held at the outdoor parking lot of the international terminal from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26.
