Busan to Japan Travel Has Decreased 33% Compared to Last Year

According to the Busan Office of the Korea Airports Corporation, the number of passengers on flights between Busan and Japan last month decreased by more than 100,000 or 32.6 percent, compared to last year.

For the popular family destination, Okinawa, the number of passengers decreased by 62.6%.

The occupancy rate also declined from 90 to 70% for Tokyo, and below 50 percent for other routes.

Meanwhile, the number of passengers who traveled from Busan Port to Japan decreased by 53.7% for July and August compared to the same time last year.
