Ganesh

Little hole in the wall Indian place run by what my friend calls a “Hippie Ajuma.” Cheap eats, chai lattes, good curry. Make immediate right coming out of PNU gate and it is a half block down on the left.

Pho

At same spot as Kebabistan is a great little Vietnamese restaurant. 2nd floor with a great view of the PNU student throng. Real Vietnamese coffee. Try the spicy sauce rice noodles and the fried spring rolls.

Head out exit one, walk 5 minutes until the main intersection and it is on your left.

Won Chon

Ultra laid back place with all kinds of  “old Korea” feeling. Located on a walled in compound with trees and a fountain. Even a resident monk--all right in the midst of the busy city outside.

There are a variety of traditional Korean dishes.

Located on the same one way street as The Basement, just past Loving Hut.

Fish & Pork

Barbecued shellfish is their specialty. It's very cheap and has outdoors seating. Staff is made up mostly of PNU students that usually speak English.

PNU subway, exit 1, make a left and it's on the corner.

Shabana Indian

Was at one time Wazwan, for more check out this review from Jen Sotham. Shabana also has a location in Kyunsgung. Great website here.

Burger & Pasta Kyungsung

The Overview

This is the latest incarnation of the Thursday Party empire. On the same street as the Dunkin Donuts. Great service - the staff even welcome you when you walk in the door. There's open air because of its patio seating. Good pasta and selection of wine.

For Burger & Pasta Gwangan, go here.

Hours of Operation: Daily 11 a.m. - 2 a.m.

Shabana

If you are looking for authentic Indian food then Shabana is the place to go. In the little alley near the Baskin Robbins, not to far from the PNU main gate. 051-621-4821. You can check out their website here.

Baekdu

Side dishes galore make this restaurant great. The Korean word is ban chan and they've got a lot of it. It's just opposite the Hyundai officetel on the main street, Kyungsung station exit 6.
