BUSAN, South Korea -- TIES THAT BIND Asia - Europe Producers Workshop (TTB) announces ten participants for its 2013 program. Organised by Busan International Film Festival, the Udine Far East Film Festival, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund, and EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs), the program brings together five producers with feature fiction projects from Asia and five from Europe to participate in two workshops.

BUSAN, South Korea -- The Busan International Performing Arts Festival Organizing Committee is accepting applications of The 10 Minute Open Plays and BIPAF ZONE performing teams for the 10th Busan International Performing Arts Festival (May 3-12, 2013).
BIPAF ZONE, located at Gwangalli Beach, has been operated for the citizens' outdoor performance since 2012. To mark the 10th anniversary of the festival, BIPAF ZONE performance will be expanded with more citizens' participation. Without limit of genre and type of performance, all those who share a love for the performing arts and have dreamed of becoming performers can apply with a 40-minute performance. In addition, BIPAF ZONE teams will be published on the festival promotion brochure.
BUSAN, South Korea -- The second Film Archive Special series gets underway Tuesday, February 26th at the Busan Cinema Center. The program will run for two weeks until March 14th, though there are no screenings on Mondays. Tickets cost 6,000 won for all or 4,000 won for members. BUSAN, South Korea -- The number of international marriages between Koreans and foreign nationals reached nearly 39,000 in 2012 according to Statistics Korea.
Since 2002, more than 320,000 international marriages have taken place in the country, with Chinese leading the way with approximately 130,000 marriages, while Japanese came second with 20,000 over a ten year period.
According to Kukinews, from 2004 to 2011, over the last seven years 18,715 Korean women divorced their foreign husbands, and 27,775 Korean men divorced their foreign wives.
BUSAN, South Korea -- The Cine Concerto Open Cinema series has chosen the Disney classic 'Enchanted' for its February screening. Enchanted is a 2007 American fantasy romantic comedy musical film focusing on Giselle, an archetypal Disney Princess, who is forced from her traditional animated world of Andalasia into the live-action world of New York City.

BUSAN, South Korea -- BEXCO, Busan Cinema Center, Busan Cultural Center, the Busan Museum of Art and other sports facilities will remain open during the Lunar New Year's holiday, which gets underway this Saturday until Monday.
The Busan Museum of Arts and the Busan Cinema Center will also remain open, continuing their schedules as normal.
The Busan City tour bus service will halt service on February 10th.
