Changwon Teens Arrested After Stealing Car and Driving to Busan

Two 18-year-old teenagers from Changwon was arrested for stealing a car and driving it 57 kilometers because “he wanted to go to Busan”.

According to the police, the teens stole the car from a parking lot in Uichang-gu, Changwon and drove to Daeyeon-dong in Busan.

The owner of the car had left the door unlocked and had left a smart key inside as he visited a friend nearby.

The teens were apprehended after parking illegally in Daeyeon-dong after someone notified the police.

The police called the number on the windshield and found that the car had been reported stolen.

The teens were found to be staying at a nearby hotel.

Charges are currently pending.
