Dante, the Italian-style aperitivo bar in New York, was been awarded The World’s Best Bar Award, sponsored by Perrier, at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2019.
This year’s list and award winners were announced at a sparkling evening as the ceremony returned to iconic London venue, the Roundhouse.
Asia continues to have an impressive presence on the list with a total of 13 bars from China, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore. Of these, five bars feature in the top 20 including China’s The Old Man (No.9) and Japan’s High Five (No.18).
Korea’s Charles H came in at #83 on the list, which is located at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul.
