Chinese National Arrested for Hit-and-Run Incident in Haeundae

Busan Police have apprehended a Chinese national after committing a hit and run under the influence of alcohol.

According to Busan Haeundae Police, they received a call at around 2:35 am on Thursday morning that a car hit two pedestrians on a road in Gijang and took off toward Haeundae.

The police arrested the 33-year-old driver, a Chinese national, in Banyeo-dong, 12 kilometers away from the scene of the accident.

The two victims are under treatment at a local hospital.

The suspect had a 0.156% blood alcohol level, enough to get his license revoked.
