City to Open Gwangan Bridge to Pedestrians Again on September 22

The City of Busan said it will control the traffic of the upper portion of the Gwangan Bridge on September 22nd and open it to the pedestrians again.

The previous Gwangan Bridge walking event took place last month caused inconveniences for the citizens and tourists, but the city of Busan says that such an event is necessary to create a pedestrian walkway on Gwangan-bridge.

The city hopes to gather public feedback from the two walking events on the bridge and plans to install a pedestrian walkway on the bridge.

However, civilian complaints are growing over the two additional pedestrian-openings of the bridge on top of the six regularly planned events.
