CSAT Takers Down Slightly From Last Year

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education (BMCOE) has announced that 33,973 students applied for the 2019 college scholastic ability test (CSAT).

This is 204 students less than last year.

Among the total applicants, close to 27,700 students are expected to graduate high school this year, more than 6,500 students are high school graduates, and more than 720 are those who passed high school qualification exams.

The number of graduates’ applicants with re-enrollment was down by 368 compared to last year while the number of prospective graduates and students who took high school qualification exam increased by 127 and 37 students respectively.

The CSAT for Korea will be held on the 15th of this month at 59 test venues in Busan.
