The nation’s biggest game exhibition will be held in Busan until the year 2020.
The city of Busan said yesterday that the port city has been confirmed as the hosting venue of G-Star for this year and the next.
The venue selection for G-Star takes every four years, and mid-term evaluation of the location of the venue every two years to check the eligibility of the venue.
Busan has been hosting G-Star successfully for the last 10 years since 2009.
Last year’s G-Star was the largest exhibition to date where 689 game-related companies from 36 countries around the world have set up 2,996 booths in Busan.
It was expected that Seongnam city would get in on the race to host G-Star in 2017, but only Busan participated in the bid.
