The city of Busan has completed the redevelopment of Gudeok Stadium and has announced that the facility can be used for free for about a month.
The newly redeveloped stadium consisting of two futsal courts, three tennis courts, five multipurpose courts, two gateball courts, a basketball court, and parking space for 200 cars among others will open today and will be available to use for free until the 16th of April.
The redevelopment project for the stadium was to make the facility useable for all citizens.
The construction was completed in 1 year and 8 months since the redevelopment project took place.
The project was kicked off in June of 2017 after seeing that many facilities at the stadium raised questions of safety concerns as they were aged 45 years or older.
