An event to wish for the successful hosting of the special Korea-ASEAN summit will be held at the National Maritime Museum today.
The event will be co-hosted by the city of Busan and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Committee on Low Birth and Aging.
The event will involve one-parent families, multicultural families, adoptive families, living community, dual-income families and multi-child families living in Busan.
With only 50 days ahead of the summit, a city official said that they will invite multicultural families from participating countries to wish for the success of the summit.
Starting with the opening performance by a family band “Common Sisters,” the event will also feature a lecture on family awareness, sand art performances, family talk shows and family choral performances.
There will also be a variety of auxiliary events such as magic bubble shows, gugak performances, family movie screening, woodworking experiences, sand games, and family photo galleries.
