Korea Destinations: Gimhae’s Lotte Water Park

The largest water park in the southern region of the country, Lotte Water Park in Gimhae has more than 40 pools and rides for those looking to cool down from the summer heat.

They recently opened their outdoor facilities for 2019 this past weekend, which include the ‘Giant Wave’, the largest outdoor wave pool in Korea, and ‘Giant Boomerango’, their representative thriller slide.

The theme park includes an outdoor and indoor water park, a Tiki island spa, restaurants and cafes.

The Polynesian concept park also hosts the largest outdoor wave pool at 135 meters, as well as the country’s largest indoor wave pool at 38 meters and the largest tornado slide at 118 meters.

Open: 10 am to 6 pm weekdays, 10 am to 7 pm weekends

Outdoor Water Park

Open: 10 am to 5 pm weekdays, 10 am to 6 pm weekends

Tiki Spa

Open: 10 am to 8 pm daily


All Day Tickets:

Adults: 45,000 won, Children 36,000 won (discounts can be had after 2 pm admission)


Adults: 13,000 won weekdays, 15,000 won weekends

Children: 10,000 won weekdays, 12,000 won weekends

Equipment rentals are also applicable.
