The police are currently investigating a dead body discovered on Dalmaji Hill in Haeundae district.
According to the Haeundae police, an insecticide handler for pine wilt diseases found the skeleton of a dead human body at around 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday.
Remains from the body were found scattered in a 20-meter radius though authorities have said that the bones have been moved around by wild animals in the area.
The police said it was unable to identify at this point whether the death was a case of suicide or murder since the death occurred some time ago.
Authorities will investigate further and identify the dead body through an autopsy which was completed yesterday, though results wouldn’t be confirmed until sometime next month.
