New Hanbok Experience Hall to Open at Yongdusan Park


The city of Busan said that it is planning to open a Hanbok experience hall at the Busan Yongdusan Park in May of this year.

The construction of the Hanbok experience hall is a part of the city’s tourism infrastructure project for the original downtown.

The city has decided to name the Hanbok experience hall as ‘Ahdam’ as selected through the public contest.

‘Ahdam’ is a word to mean embrace and preserve. In this context, the word is to embrace and preserve the beauty of Korean tradition.

The Hanbok experience hall will also be used as an event venue for traditional wedding ceremonies and performances as well as to sell souvenirs.
