Number of Beach Tourists Down 13%


Monsoons and typhoons have taken a toll on the number of tourists visiting Busan’s seven beaches.

Between July 1st and July 13th, 1,250,000 people visited a Busan beach, down 13% from last year’s 1,420,000 visitors.

580,000 people have visited Haeundae Beach, the largest total. 200,000 people visited Songdo and 190,000 people visited Songjeong.
