Pet Owner Under Investigation After Dog Bites Two Children

Another case of a pet dog attacking children happened in Korea — this time in Busan.

According to local police, a fox terrier that was not on the leash bit two elementary school children at an apartment in Haeundae in May.

The two children sustained injuries which took two weeks to completely heal.

They are also said to be undergoing psychological treatment.

The fox terrier is said to have escaped from its home and was not on its leash at the time of the incident.

A similar incident of a fox terrier attacking a three-year-old girl took place in Yongin of Gyeonggi Province not too long ago.

Busan Haeundae Police said yesterday that the case has been referred to the prosecution after accusing the owner with negligence of pet ownership.
