Sea Art Festival Announces This Year’s Dates and Theme

The organizing committee of the Busan Biennale announced today that Sea Art Festival will be held from September 28th to October 27th at the Dadaepo Beach.

The theme of the festival will be “Sea of Heartbreak”.

The theme has been chosen to gather opinions and thoughts on the environment and on human life, as well as to find answers to some relevant questions.

The name was also inspired from the 1961 song of the same name by Don Gibson.

Around 30 artists from 12 countries will participate in the festival this year.

This year’s Sea Art Festival will use the key concepts of “ecology” and “environment” to present problems caused by damaged nature and expand that to individuals, society, and humanity.
