Sea Art Festival Gets Underway in Busan Today

The 2019 Sea Art Festival will hold its opening ceremony at 4 pm today at the Dadaepo Beach outdoor stage.

The exhibition consists of three sections — “Sea of Pain”, “Sea of Change” and “Sea of Regeneration” — that showcase 21 artworks by 35 artists from 12 countries.

The 2019 Busan Sea Art Festival will be open free of charge from the 28th of this month until the 27th of October with regular viewing hours from 10 am until 7 pm.

According to a city official, the city hopes to provide healing to citizens who have hurt by various issues, including environmental ones, by providing environmental and people-friendly artworks.

How to get there: Dadaepo Beach Station (Metro line 1), exit 4. Walk toward the beach.
