Alright, folks, our new weekly trivia night is continuing to build, and we are always looking for new brainiacs to raise their swords. If you weren’t able to make it in the past, let me remind you that the pub quiz is now at HQ Gwangan every Wednesday, and there’s a new format:
1000 Won Entrance Fee Per Player / Winning Team Gets The Cash!
Maximum Team Size is 5. Minimum Team Size is 1.
2 Rounds of Questions
3 Categories in Each Round
5 Questions in Each Category
Plus in between rounds, we will have a Beer Bonus round where one team can win a free pitcher of Cass or OB.
We’ll be starting the quiz at approximately 9:00, and it’ll be done before 11:00 so for those of you coming from outside of Gwangan, you can hightail it to your bus or subway to stiff over the taxi drivers–or if you want to keep drinking, nobody’s stopping you.
Following, trivia, come on down for the newest open mic in town starting around 11 p.m.

AD STARS 2019, which celebrates creative solutions that can change the world, will be held this year in BEXCO’s Convention Hall for three days from August 22 to 24. In its 12th run this year, Ad Stars is organized by the Busan AD STARS Organizing Committee and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Science and Tourism (MCST) and Busan Metropolitan Government.
Under the theme “Influences of Marketing and Communications that Benefit Consumers,” this year’s Ad Stars will highlight the latest trends in global marketing and communications amid the rapidly changing environment, which is increasingly making a shift to digital media. The conference that is to be held alongside the main show will focus on how fine arts, gender discourse, sports, solo marketing, and other such factors can help widen the scope of marketing content to be produced and also improve its quality on the world stage.
The exhibition will feature works by professional advertisers and finalists of a public contest. BEXCO’s Outdoor Plaza will host the World Public Interest Commercial Film Exhibition, held under the theme “Please, Save My Earth.”
There will also be a variety of other side events for the general public to enjoy, including the Video Stars Zone (featuring independent content creators), Open Stage Conference, Job Mentoring, and other such activities. Visit the festival’s official website for more information.
