UN Week Begins in Busan With Events Scheduled Until the 31st

The city of Busan will declare the first UN week this year, designating today until the 31st of this month as an appreciation week for veterans from November 1st until the 11th as a memorial week.

For the appreciation week, Busan will hold a peace concert at Seomyeon Nurimaru today and a citizen walking competition on the 26th at the UN Memorial Park n addition to a UNiDay celebration, a UN Week Opening Ceremony, and an International Peace Conference.

During the memorial week, Busan Station will hold a peace light-up ceremony and create flagpoles for UN parties.

There will also be a patriot art exhibition at the UN Peace Memorial Hall.

UN Week events will conclude on the 11th of next month with the ‘turn-forward Busan’ event in memory of veterans.
