Korea’s first drama series produced by Netflix was released around the world yesterday, with high hopes for the “zombie drama”.
The six-episode series stars Bae Doo-na, Ju Ji-hoon, and Ryu Seung-ryong and is directed by Kim Seung-hun.
The story revolves around a crown prince who was exiled from the court after being accused of treason after the King contracts a deadly virus which leads him to fall into a zombie state.
The prince then goes in search of a cure where he must find the services of a doctor with the cure while being pursued from zombies in the countryside.
The series is released in 130 countries and cost approximately $1.7 million dollars per episode according to Netflix.
