Yangsan Metro Line Construction Will Begin in October, Set to Open in 2022

The construction of Yangsan Line of Busan Metro will begin from October and it will be open to the public by 2022.

A memorandum of understanding was signed in 2015 for the construction, but the construction of the line has made slow progress over the shares of working expenses among related institutions including Korea Land and Housing Corporation, LH.

Recently, however, LH and Busan city decided to bear the working expenses, and so the construction of the line will now begin.

The Yangsan Line is 11.4 kilometer long, connecting Nopo-dong of Busan and Bukjeong-dong of Yangsan, with a total of 7 stations along the line.
